Bethlehem - Ma'an – Israeli police on Thursday announced restrictions for Palestinians traveling from the West Bank to East Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers on the first week of the holy month of Ramadan.

Police said they would allow men over 50 and women over 45, in addition to holders of special permits from the Civil Administration, to enter occupied East Jerusalem, Palestine's capital.

Meanwhile, Israel Radio reported that thousands of police forces would be deployed in the Old City of Jerusalem to keep order.

Surely Mr Abbas can see the writing on the wall. Israel is tightening it's hold on all of Jerusalem and the West Bank. More Zionist oppression in an attempt to break the will of Palestinian people and their desire for autonomy.

before the Intifada murder campaign 2000, there was no wall, free access for all to Jerusalem and the entire West Bank. Palestinian workers all over Tel Aviv and visitors everywhere in Israel. Blowing yourself up is bad for everyone.
