Jenin – Ma’an – Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces said on Sunday that they safely dismantled an explosive device left behind by the Israeli army in the village of Al-Mughier, near the West Bank city of Jenin.
A statement from the National Security force said, “The central operation room received information from a resident on a group of children who were playing with a suspicious object, so the security forces moved to the scene and found that object with the children around it.”
“The ordnance was left behind by the Israeli army,” the statement added. The object “was moved to be dismantled immediately.”
Separately the PA said that three children in another village near Jenin brought another Israeli explosive device to the security operations room. The security forces said they thanked the children and dismantled the object.
