Qalqiliya – Ma’an – A Palestinian man was critically injured when an Israeli settler’s car struck him near the West Bank city of Qalqiliya on Wednesday night.

According to Palestinian Authority police Zakariya Hussam Radwan, 24, was crossing a main road near the village of An-Nabi Elias when he was hit. The woman driving the car turned herself in to Israeli police at a nearby military checkpoint.

Palestine Red Crescent officials said the young man was critically injured, necessitating that he be transferred to a hospital inside Israel.
