Israel hands over eviction orders in Jordan Valley

Jericho - Ma'an - Israeli authorities on Thursday handed over orders to Palestinian farmers in the district of Jericho and the Jordan Valley informing them they would have to evacuate structures within 16 days.
The head of the agriculture department in Jericho, Ahmad Al-Fares, said that "the farmers and those who are raising livestock from different areas in the Jordan Valley notified the department of the Israeli procedures that would destroy their property.
He noted that "such acts would thwart a campaign carried out by many Palestinian non-governmental organizations, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and funded by international donors, aimed at developing Bedouin communities to fight drought and lack of natural pastures, most of which are closed by the Israeli authorities under the pretext that these areas are military zones." The Israeli orders were handed over to residents of the Al-Jaftalek and Fasayel areas. Most of those who were warned are living in the areas of Khelat Al-Foula and Kherbat A’llan. Among them:
