Ramallah – Ma’an – Palestinian police under the caretaker government arrested 12 family members involved in a clan clash in Hebron Thursday night, a report from the public relations office said.

Officers were called to the area by local residents to quell a family feud and detained four relatives. They left the area but were quickly called back after hostilities broke out for a second time with a barrage of stone throwing. Eight more individuals were detained.

The root of the argument was an unreported car accident in Halhoul, with both sides claiming the other's family member was responsible for damages.
