Jerusalem – Ma'an – Riots erupted between Palestinians and dozens of right-wing settlers in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah on Friday night, onlookers said.

Several religious settlers reportedly performed "group dances" at the home of the Al-Ghawi family, which was evicted earlier this year before their home was handed over to Israelis.

Palestinians gathered drumming pots and pans in an effort to annoy the settlers, Ma'an's correspondent reported from the scene, adding that Israeli police dispersed both crowds without incident.
