Gaza – Ma’an – The armed wing of the left-wing Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said it shelled Israeli military vehicles southeast of Gaza City on Wednesday.

The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades said they fired two mortar shells at military vehicles near the Eastern Cemetery of Gaza City.

In a statement the group said Israeli warplanes flew overhead during the attack.

The statement the group also reaffirmed that “resistance” is their preferred option to respond to Israeli “crime.”

Ma’an could not independently confirm the report.
