Nablus – Ma’an – A young man was injured and another detained when Israeli soldiers and settlers attacked Iraq Burin village south of Nablus on Saturday afternoon, a Palestinian Official official said.

Ghassan Douglas, who holds the settlement portfolio for the northern West Bank, said dozens Yizhar settlers threw stones at villagers. As the attack continued, soldiers arrived to fire tear gas and rubber-coated bullets at village residents, he said.

The bullets injured 22-year-old Sa’d Husam Al-Faqeeh, while 36-year-old Wa’el Al-Faqeeh was detained by the invading forces, Douglas added.
