Gaza – Ma’an – A military court affiliated with the de facto Hamas government sentenced a man to death on Tuesday for "collaboration with the enemy."

The convict is known by the nickname “As-Sabi’” (lion in Arabic). He was convicted of collaboration and participation in premeditated murder. The verdict came in accordance with a military ruling passed by the Hamas-run parliament in Gaza in 2008 and is not backed my any formal legal entity.
