Gaza - Ma'an - Israeli authorities opened the Kerem Shalom and Karni crossings in Gaza on Wednesday, while the Nahal Oz fuel terminal will remain closed, according to a Palestinian crossings official.

The official, Raed Fattouh, said Israel would allow 66-76 truckloads of aid through Kerem Shalom, in addition to 128 trucks transporting wheat and animal feed were expected through Karni. The Kerem Shalom deliveries will include 330 calves.

The crossings, operated by the Israeli Airports Authority, were opened on Tuesday for commercial merchandize, humanitarian aid, and limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas.

Fattouh added that the Nahal Oz crossing would be closed.

The move to open the border crossings with Israel comes after the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian border was opened on Sunday.
