Ramallah/Jenin – Ma’an – The Israeli military detained a resident from the Qalandiya Refugee Camp on Wednesday and distributed a number of summons orders from Israeli intelligence, in addition to seizing a resident of Birqin, south of city of Jenin, according to Palestinian security officials.

The sources state that Younes Jamal, 20, from Qalandiya, and Mohammad Abed Al-Karim Hamdan, 30, from Burqeen, were both detained following a number of raids and forced entry into several houses.

A further Israeli military incursion took place in the Tulkarem district, involving the raiding of several homes in the village of Beit Lid, and the distribution two summons orders issued by the Israeli intelligence to Naheed Salamah and Mohammad Jum’ah, security officials said.

The detentions follow the surrounding of coffee shop and the interrogation of its patrons by Israeli forces on Tuesday in the town Tubas, also in the northern West Bank. Palestinian security said Israeli military proceeded by installing a military checkpoint at Tamoun junction, south of the city, without making additional arrests.
