Nablus – Ma’an – A Nablus teen died Friday morning after being hit by a car the night before; police said he was crossing the road when a car traveling at high speeds collided with him.

The public relations office of the Palestinian police identified the teen as 13-year-old Ahmad Yousef Hafnawi, they said the car that hit him was travelling too fast to stop. Ahmad was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, where he died.

The media office noted that since the beginning of 2009, 114 Palestinians have died in car accidents, 41 of them children.
