Bethlehem – Ma'an – A Palestinian teenager was stabbed in Jaffa on Monday, the Hebrew-language daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was evacuated to a hospital in Holon inside Israel. Medics said he sustained moderate wounds.

According to the report, a 20-year-old Israeli from Affula was arrested on suspicions he stabbed the man. There was no immediate indication the alleged attack was nationalistically motivated.

Israeli police also opened an investigation into the victim's residency status, the newspaper said.
