Allenby Bridge open 24/7 for homebound Hajj pilgrims

Jericho – Ma’an – The first group of Palestinian Hajj pilgrims returned to the West Bank on Monday via the Allenby Bridge, the border crossing with Jordan.

According to a report issued by the Allenby Bridge media office, 36 Palestinian security officers were the first to arrive, including the director of the Qalqiliya police, Omar Al- Buzur.

The border crossing with Jordan will remain open 24 hours a day until the weekend to accommodate Palestinian Hajj pilgrims returning from Mecca following Eid Al-Adha, the report added.
