Gaza – Ma'an – No crossings between Israel and the Gaza Strip will open on Friday, Israeli officials told their Gaza counterparts, maintaining the comprehensive siege on the coastal region.

Although three of the four goods crossings into Gaza were scheduled to be open for imports six days a week, two to three crossings operated five days a week since August, and since December only one to two crossings were opened five days a week.

On Thursday, Israeli authorities allowed 87 truckloads of goods into Gaza, less than one fourth of the coastal enclave's daily needs, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
