Qalqilya – Ma'an – A cleaner died on Monday in Qalqiliya after falling and hitting his head on the floor at work, his colleague said.

Rida Mahmoud Qar'an, 21, was taken to Dr Darwish Nazzal Hospital in Qalqiliya to undergo treatment for his injuries, but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

Local police have opened an investigation into the incident to clarify the cause of death.
