Army: 7 mortar shells fired from Gaza strike Israel

Bethlehem - Ma'an - Palestinians launched 12 projectiles toward Israeli territory over the course of Thursday, Israel's military said.

Seven mortar shells landed in the Sha'ar regional council and the rest landed inside the Gaza Strip, an Israeli army spokeswoman said.

The military official told Ma'an that there were no reports of injury or damage in the area, which is in the Negev desert northeast of Gaza.

Earlier Thursday, witnesses said 12 Israeli military vehicles entered Gaza in the north and destroyed agricultural land.

Ben Jabo, didn't you read the Ma' an news article above, does this mean that Israel will shell itself? (most of the missiles fell in Gaza Strip), Re: "give and so shall ye receive": I would bet the Palestinians are looking forward to the day when the world finally holds Israel accountable for the WAR CRIMES in Gaza & the cold blooded murders of the Flotilla members, Or would you consider that a "disproportionate response" ??

Waterford - Surely you can't blame Israel for Hamas' shells falling short of their intended target.. The only war crimes in Gaza was Hamas' firing 10K rocket rounds into Israel, necessitating Israel's response, since Hamas ignored Israel's orders to cease and desist

It wasn't murder it was self-defense, the soldiers were attacked by terrorists that had boarded the ship and had armed themselves, in advance, with borken glass, clubs & knives
Seems you missed seein all the videos showing the soldiers being attacked
I'll guess you want to mention the gun the solider was holding, let me save you he trouble, it was a PAINTBALL GUN, with a bright shiny barrel,
you'll never see shiny barrels on military weapons, the reflection would reaveal position

"The right to fight occupation"

If firing 12 "projectiles" at Israel and having 5 land in your own territiory is fighting the occupation...then maybe it is time to reconsider a new tactic. Seems talking is better. Hamas could be a real power force if they upstaged Fatah in real discussions with those Jews.

Stay out of the pubs, you missed the videos, showing the thug passengers on board wielding clubs and knives as the IDF rapelled down to the deck
If babies got killed, it's easily explained, Hamas prefers to fight from the midst of the civilian population, hiding in Mosques, Schools & Hospitals
