Infant injured in Hebron raid

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- An infant was hospitalized Monday after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli police during a raid near Hebron, activists said.

Mahmud Muhammad Abdul Fattah At-Teet, 18 months, was transferred to a clinic in Beit Ummar and then to a hospital, Palestine Solidarity Project spokesman Muhammad Ayyad Awad said, after the raid on the village at 10:30 p.m.

Israel detained Mu’ayed Hasan Abdul Fattah At-Teet, 21, after searching his house, Awad said.

A Palestinian toddler was reported dead last Friday after Israeli forces fired tear gas amid clashes in a Palestinian neighborhood in East Jerusalem, relatives said.

Days later, an Israeli human rights organization called on police to investigate the incident.

#1 seeing that Gaza children are caged crammed together in a concentration camp (please refer to the jewish holocaust gallery if you don't understand what this means) and have nowhere else to go, I'm sure the Human Rights Group is intelligent enough to busy themselves asking why Israeli elders place their children in harm's way, especially since israelis are FREE to go anywhere they want OUT of harms way.

Ben Jabo, " a raid" means the soldiers were in someone's house. Should the child's elders not keep their child at home in case Israeli soldiers randomly attack ??! Where would you suggest is a safe place to keep a child in Palestine away from Israeli violence ??
