RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- An angry crowd on Monday vandalized the Qatar-based Al-Jazeera's Ramallah office, onlookers said.

Security forces stepped in after a dozen youths broke a security gate at the building before entering it and sprayed graffiti.

Al-Jazeera International correspondent Alan Fisher wrote on his Twitter page that no one was injured before police arrived.

Footage of the incident posted on YouTube later Monday showed a handful of young Palestinians shouting and chanting slogans at Al-Jazeera's staff. One tells a photographer to stop filming.

Ramallah's municipality urged pedestrians not to congregate near the building which houses the network. In a statement, the municipality called for restrain but also saluted "the position of the Palestinian street."

The incident followed criticism of the network from Palestinian Authority officials who were named in an Al-Jazeera series dubbed the Palestine Papers, which revealed PA compromises with Israel on key issues.

"Al-Jazeera's information is full of distortions and fraud," PLO chief Yasser Abed Rabbo said Monday.

So the Palestinian Authority sent its security forces to attack Al Jazeera offices and they are pretending like the Palestinian "people" are the ones angry at Al Jazeera for exposing their lies? Just how stupid do Abbas and the rest of those traitors think we are?

Abbas and the Qatari Emir should both resign for the sake of the Arab people. Both so-called leaders are corrupt western-installed puppets on the jewish payroll.

An attack on Aljazeera is unjustified, since it has only exposed how Palestinians have been lied to and betrayed by their leadership. Moreover, Aljazeera also exposed the US as a dishonest broker who used intimidation and threats to force Palestinians to make land concessions to Apartheid, Zionazi Israel not in their interest, but to obtain statehood. Palestinians should be thankful to Aljazeera for revealing the truth and giving them justification to request the US be replaced as mediator.

And this is a people who want the rest of the world to see them as civilised human beings. The truth is their PA and Hamas are perfectly representative of them.

HAHA !!

It was a pathetic attempt by the PA to make it look like people are actually "angry" at Al-Jazeera.

The PA sent some thugs to vandalize the aljazeera office and called it a riot.
