BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Palestine Solidarity Campaign in the United Kingdom on Friday welcomed British Prime Minister David Cameron's decision to step down as patron of Jewish National Fund.

"This is a welcome development, and reflects the fact that it is now impossible for any serious party leader to lend their public support to racism," said campaign director Sarah Colborne.

"The Jewish National Fund plays a critical role in facilitating the continued dispossession and suffering of Palestinians," the Palestine Solidarity Campaign statement added.

GOOD !!! Glad HE LEFT and GOOD RIDDANCE TO HIM !!! The Jewish National Fund (or ANY charitable group that helps us like they do) IS NOT SUPPORTING RACISM. The Jewish National Fund DOESN'T DO THAT. RACISM is DISCRIMINATION based on RACE or ETHNIC BACKGROUND. If JNF benefits a project ANYWHERE in Israel then ALL CITIZENS OF ISRAEL (REGARDLESS of race) CAN BENEFIT FROM IT. If money DOES GO to an Israeli cause that IS JEWISH then ANY NON-JEWISH ISRAELI'S (READ: ARABS) can ALSO BENEFIT from it.

Unfortunately Israel is a racist state, ability to purchase property/land depends on your race. Also amount of investment in health or education depends on your race.

Everybody knows JNF routinely practices racism against the Palestinian population. Any political leader with self-respect should decline to support an apartheid promoting organisation such as JNF. History, as always, will judge their behavour.

QUOTE FROM AN ISRAELI "Arabs are welcome to leave Israel for countries that are not "racist"! Seems we have turned full circle, that's exactly what Hitler was saying to the Jews of Germany in the 1930's. The difference with Palestine is that the Arabs arindigenousus to the area while the vast proportion of "Jews" in Israel have no historical relationship to the area at all. The big question however, is why Cameron was actually a member of this racist organisation in the first place and while l
