BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Honduras announced Thursday that it intends to support the Palestinian UN bid for statehood in September, prompting the Israeli Foreign Ministry to withdraw its ambassador from the country for consultation, Israeli news site Walla reported.

The announcement came during a conversation between Palestinian Authority Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Malki and Honduran President Porfirio Lobo, the Israeli news site reported.

Thanks Honduras, a civil decision. Does anyone know the official number of states that are going to support the Palestinian bid at the UN?
I know there are over 120 countries that support a Palestinian state along the '67 border.

Can Honduras provide enough of financial aid to Palestinian Authority to enable them to survive even after UN bid? I think I know the answer.

When Palestine calls for support there are many who will support them financially. Even if thier home countries won't.

Now more than ever I feel proud of my president, Mr. Porfirio Lobo. I have been very critical of his administration, but this is a very very good thing he has done. Congratulations president Lobo, let's hope the international Israeli lobby won't make you take back the support for Palestine. FREE PALESTINE!
