GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Unknown kidnappers released a journalist in Gaza on Monday three days after he was abducted, his family said.

Hatim Abu Mousa, 23, was abducted near Gaza City's Unknown Soldier square on Thursday, his father Jabir told Ma'an.

His kidnappers released him in the same area in the early hours of Monday morning, Jabir said.

The journalist had been beaten but his attackers did not ask him any questions, his father added.

Hatim Abu Mousa, from al-Maghazi refugee camp in northern Gaza, is a board member of the Palestinian Human Rights Foundation.
