Medics: 1 killed as Israel bombs Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- An Israeli airstrike on Friday killed one man in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.

Israel warplanes bombed an area east of al-Bureij camp, signaling an end to an Egyptian-brokered truce reached Wednesday.

Qassem Abdullah Ahmed, 24, was killed and two people were injured in the strike, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said.

The Israeli military said in a statement that it hit "a terrorist squad during preparations to fire a rocket at Israel from the central Gaza Strip."

The Popular Resistance Committees said the man killed in the attack belonged to their group.

Earlier Friday, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said it fired four rockets at Israeli targets.

Another group identified as brigades of martyr Abdul Qader Al-Hussaini also claimed responsibility for firing a rocket.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said three rockets landed in southern Israel, two in the morning and one in the evening, causing no injuries.

Israel killed eight Palestinians over three days of heavy shelling that ended Wednesday night as Hamas' military wing signed up to a truce mediated by Egypt.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said it fired 120 rockets at Israeli military targets on Tuesday and Wednesday.

ALL 120 rockets fired by the Al-Qassam Brigades have
NO ability to be aimed at "Israeli military targets",
which is why they typically hit nothing but desert sand, so
Al-Qassam Brigades aims at the biggest targets, cities & towns,
and thus EACH Al-QASSAM Brigade ROCKET IS A WAR CRIME, while,
the 8 Palestinians killed by Israel were as a result of targeting & hitting
young men, like 24 year old Ahmad, during preparations to fire at
ISRAEL, and thus SELF-DEFENSE only !!!

HAMAS always CHOOSES THE SWORD, even though
ISRAEL would PREFER to use THE OLIVE BRANCH, and
for the people of Gaza's sake, we can only hope that
someday Hamas will choose better for the people !!!!

1- Israel must Occupy much some territory for it's own security !! 2- Palestinians must Resist the Israeli Occupation !!! 3- Israel must Bomb the Palestinian Resistance !!!! And, 4- Palestinians must continue dying from the Bombardment, until they end armed resistance, and negotiate a Compromise !!!!!

Rockets from Gaza accomplish nothing. Bombing Gaza accomplished nothing. Both sides' strategies are bankrupt. Neither side will ever feel the other's pain or sear the consciousness of the other. Both sides' thinking is pure and unadulterated BS.
