BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Hamas said on Sunday that Palestinian Authority forces raided the West Bank home of freed hunger-strike Hana Shalabi, before detaining her brother.

Shalabi refused food for 43 days in Israeli jail before being deported to the Gaza Strip in April.

Hamas said in a statement that the security forces of the West Bank government, which is dominated by its political rival Fatah, had ransacked Shalabi's family home in Birqin and seized her brother.

Forces detained two other members of the movement in Qalqiliya and nearby town Immatim, the statement said.

They also summoned the Qalqilya man's brother, and another man in Awarta village near Nablus, it added.
