BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Two rockets were fired into southern Israel from the Gaza Strip on Saturday, Israel's army said.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said the rockets landed in Hof Ashkelon regional council at around 5 p.m., with no injuries or damage reported.
A previously unknown militant group in Gaza called the "Al-Furqan Brigades" claimed responsibility in a statement.
