HEBRON (Ma'an) -- An Israeli settler ran over a 10-year-old Palestinian in Hebron on Wednesday, medics said.

Monketh al-Jabari was crossing the road in Beit Anion when he was run over. He was taken to the Hebron government hospital, medics told Ma'an.

When one of these settlers gets torn from his car and ripped to pieces by an angry mob, it will, of course, be an act of terrorism. Presumably, evidence of the virulent anti-semitism that is the very reason Israel must stay strong.

One only has to read the Talmud to understand the the squatter mentality.

1 ) Colin Wright / USA - Interesting comparison, and lynch mob vs what is being reported as a traffic incident. Or are you reading into this that the driver hunted down the child and ran him down intentionally? Is that how IRNA reported it?

I have read parts of the Talmud in a religion class, in translation. I would say it offers nothing insightful for the modern Arab Israeli conflict. It does have interesting points regarding the law and even commercial transactions, which seem advanced. Comment 2 is ridiculous.

To USAUSA #5 'I have read parts of the Talmud in a religion class, in translation. ' The available English translations of the Talmud are heavily bowdlerized. To hear things you probably don't want to hear, try reading Israel Shabak's 'Jewish History Jewish Religion.' It's hardly balanced but it is accurate.
