JERUSALEM (Ma’an) -- Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister said Monday there is no room to meet the Palestinian request to review the economic accords between their governments.

Danny Ayalon told Israel Radio that the economic annexes to the Oslo Accords could not be treated separately than the political agreements in the main body.

He blamed the Palestinian leadership for refusing to meet with Israeli leaders to make a new political agreement. Palestinian officials say Israel is refusing its necessary conditions for talks, including a freeze on settlement building in Palestinian lands.

In an interview with Israel's Reshet Bet radio on Sunday, Israeli defense ministry policy director Amos Gilad said the state should carefully study the request to assess how realistic it is.

The Paris Protocol was signed in 1994 as an annex to the Oslo Accords that established the interim Palestinian government.

Protesters rallying against rising prices and unemployment across the West Bank this week have called for its cancellation. The agreement has mostly benefited Israel while making the Palestinian economy dependent on Israel's economy, they argue.

The Protocol gave Israel sole control over Palestine's external trade, and collection of customs duties, and pegs VAT to Israeli tax rates.

No room for European khazar imposter Jews either in the Land of Palestine. Don't blame this arrogant Zionist. Blame the PA/PLO who engage with, and sign idiotic economic agreements with the usurpers.

Most of whom you like to call "European khazar imposter
JEWS" WERE BORN ON THE LAND (many 2nd & 3rd generation too),
that you like to call "Palestine", and
Most of whom you like to call "REFUGESS" (many 2nd & 3rd generation having never even seen the Land), ARE NEVER RETURNING.

There is plenty of room, in the real world, for "Palestine" to remain what it
is today, just another 9-Letter word, or about a dozen isolated and poverty-
stricken Arab population centers, surrounded by Jewish controlled lands !!!

Several years ago, Netanyahu is on record - http://www.thenational.ae/news/world/middle-east/netanyahu-admits-on-video-he-deceived-us-to-destroy-oslo-accord - saying he had quite intentionally destroyed the Oslo Accords. Mr Ayalon and others might want to check with their Prime Minister before referring to the agreements, which have been greatly ignored since they were signed. Facts on the ground have made them irrelevant.

Carol #4 - you are not correct: Oslo agreement and Paris protocol are working as of today - Israel is still collecting taxes and fees on palestinian behalf and transfers them to PA every month. If palestinians do not like the agreement they can cancel them, but they should also understand that they will lose about $110M a month. I am not sure that they know how to make up the difference and I am sure that if there is no Israel, PA would never collect those taxes and fees.

"Working," no. 5, - for whom ?! Let's start with one example : under the Accords, Gazan fishermen were given a 20-nautical mile limit to fish in; Israeli naval ships have narrowed that to 3 nautical miles and often arrest, harass and confiscate boats within the supposedly permitted area. The fishing sector in Gaza is ruined.
