TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- An Israeli man was stabbed in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud late Friday, an Israeli police spokesman said.

Micky Rosenfeld told Ma'an that the unidentified man, in his 30s, was on his way back home from the Western Wall when he was attacked by at least one suspect.

"Israeli police are carrying out patrols and searching for two suspects," Rosenfeld said. "The current assessment of the background was that it was a terrorist attack."

Join the dots. If the stabbing of "an Israeli man" in Ras al-Amud is being treated as "a terrorist attack", the Israeli is Jewish and the attacker Arab. And if the victim is Jewish he shouldn't be going "back home" to Ras al-Amud because Ras al-Amud is occupied Palestine and the "Israeli" an illegal settler/occupier there. Which is not to say he deserves to be stabbed, no-one does, just that he should move "back home" to Israel (where it's safer).
