An Israeli army spokeswoman said there was "routine" military activity along the border.
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli military vehicles entered the central Gaza Strip on Wednesday, locals said.
Witnesses told Ma'an that six bulldozers and four military vehicles entered 500 meters into Gaza near al-Bureij refugee camp.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said there was "routine activity along the border fence in central Gaza."
On Monday, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a 20-year-old Palestinian man who approached a fence near Gaza's border with Israel, medics said.
Medics had to wait around six hours for permission to pick Ahmad al-Nabaheen up from the spot near al-Bureij refugee camp. They suspected he died of injuries for which he might have been treated.
