BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Israeli army on Thursday denied reports on social media that Tel Aviv had been targeted by a rocket from the Gaza Strip late Wednesday.
Israeli military spokeswoman Avital Leibovich took to Twitter to deny the report by a Hamas-affiliated account, saying "no rockets were fired to Tel Aviv. The rumors are part of #Hamas propaganda."
Earlier a Twitter account of the al-Qassam Brigades reported "shelling (against) the occupied city of 'Tel Aviv' with one homemade projectile for the first time>>more is coming."
