BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Hamas' military wing released footage on Thursday that it said showed "Fajr" missiles being launched toward Tel Aviv, after the Israeli military claimed to have destroyed most of them.

The footage distributed by the al-Qassam Brigades followed the release by Israel's army of a video it said showed its air force destroying Fajr missiles in Gaza.

A day earlier Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak told reporters that most of Hamas' Fajr missiles were destroyed in the first hour of the Israeli army's assault on Gaza.

"Israel does not want war, but Hamas' provocations -- the firing on the south, the explosives tunnel and the anti-tank missile fire on a jeep -- all these obligated us to act with intensity," he said.

The USA had a crisis in 1962, when the USSR built launch facilities, and tried to put ballistic nuclear missles in Cuba, and Israel had a similar crisis in 2012, with launch facilities and Iranian Fajr-5 rockets in Gaza, and in both situations the two states used a naval blockade, to prevent weapon delivery !!!
