TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces are searching the Hebron area for a rocket fired from Gaza, Israeli news site Walla reported on Thursday.
An Israeli army spokeswoman could not immediately confirm the report.
Since Israel killed a senior Hamas commander on Wednesday, 16 Palestinians have died in the Israeli assault, termed 'Operation Pillar of Cloud.' Gaza militant groups claimed responsibility for firing a volley of rockets, which killed three Israelis early Thursday.
Earlier Thursday, Hamas and Islamic Jihad launched two missiles against Tel Aviv -- the first time Israel's commercial capital has come under such attack since the 1991 Gulf War. No injuries or damage was reported.
