JERUSALEM (Ma’an) -- Hamas' office in the West Bank called on Thursday evening for Palestinians to hold demonstrations in support of Gaza after Friday prayers.
A Hamas statement called on national leaders and imams across the West Bank to direct their support to Gaza, where 16 people have been killed in an Israeli assault that began on Wednesday.
Labeling it 'The Friday of Loyalty to Gaza', Hamas called on Palestinians to head from the main mosques on marches in solidarity with Gaza.
On Thursday, Palestinians protested in Nablus, Bethlehem and Ramallah to condemn Israel's operation on Gaza.
