GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- The vehicle of a Reuters photographer was damaged by rocket fire on the Gaza border on Friday morning, a Reuters journalist said.
The journalists escaped unharmed, he told Ma'an.
Meanwhile, Hamas' al-Qassam brigades said it had fired rockets at an Israeli military jeep east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
A brigades' statement said Israeli forces were injured. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was looking into the report.
Israel's army said more than 50 rockets landed in south Israel over two hours on Friday morning, with no reports of injuries.
The military wings of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and the Popular Resistance Committees all claimed rocket fire early Friday. PRC's military wing, al-Nasser Salah Addin Brigades, announced it would be abiding by the ceasefire during the visit of Egypt premier Hisham Kandil.
