GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli gunboats shelled the coastline of Gaza City and central Gaza before dawn on Sunday, eyewitnesses said.

Residents told Ma'an the beaches, coastal road, a bridge, and the Wadi Gaza area had all come under heavy fire.
