BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Reporters Without Borders on Monday condemned Israel's attacks on the news media for a second day in a row and said the targets were civilians.

“Attacks on civilian targets are war crimes and serious violations of the Geneva Conventions,” secretary Christophe Deloire said. “Those responsible must be identified.”

The group was responding to an Israeli spokesman's position that the army could not treat Al-Aqsa TV employees as “legitimate journalists” like BBC or Al Jazeera employees.
