GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Israeli authorities partially opened the sole commercial crossing into the Gaza Strip on Sunday, a Palestinian official said.
Crossings official Raed Fattouh said 150 aid trucks, including medical, commercial and agricultural goods, are expected to enter the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom crossing.
The terminal was closed for much of Israel's eight-day war on Gaza, which ended in a truce on Wednesday.
The Kerem Shalom crossing, at the far south of the Israel-Gaza border, is the only freight passage into the blockaded territory.
