BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Knesset members plan to burn Palestinian flags in Jerusalem on Thursday to protest a UN vote to upgrade Palestine's status, Israeli media reported Wednesday.
MKs Aryeh Eldad and Michael Ben Ari, of the new Power to Israel party, will burn Palestinian flags outside UN headquarters, the settler news site Arutz Sheva reported.
Other Knesset members, including Baruch Marzel, Aryeh King and Itamar Ben Gvir will attend the demonstration, the report said.
Eldad said Benjamin Netanyahu had not reacted forcefully enough to Palestine's bid for "observer state" status at the UN, and said the Israeli prime minister was behaving like "a dishrag."
