HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities issued demolition orders this week for a home in Beit Ummar, a local committee said.

The order, written in Arabic and Hebrew, states that Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil Muqbil's home will be demolished on Dec. 27, adding that the family must leave the house, Beit Ummar's popular committee said.

Muqil received the notice from Beit Eli military court on Nov. 27, the committee said, adding that 13 people live in the property and will be made homeless by the order.

Several homes in the village have been issued with demolition orders by Israel's military. The homes are located near the illegal Karmi Zur settlement.

I hope that all settlements on OPT should have demolition orders from ICC or from PA. It is time for PA and EU to act not only to talk.

Why demolish people's homes? Because they can! This is the start of the punishment for the Palestinians to dare exercise their right to make their own state. Like the settlements which have been approved yesterday which would effectively cut the West Bank in Half. Marvellous strategy, Israel. (But totally immoral and illegal. As if Israel cared.)

History will not forget these crimes against humanity, happening in our lifetime. History will someday ask, how could everyone have known about this, and not stopped this. And after this, in the future, the children of these Palestinians can say, "Never again, never again."
