GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- A delegation of European politicians arrived in the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening to take part in a fact-finding mission, a Gaza official said.

Foreign ministry official Ghazi Hammad said 54 parliamentarians and political figures entered Gaza via Egypt's Rafah crossing.

Irish and Scottish parliamentarians had already announced their participation in the mission, which comes 10 days after Israel's eight-day bombardment of the coastal enclave.

Hamad said the group will visit the home of the al-Dalou family, which was hit by an airstrike amidst the conflict killing at least nine family members.
