RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Jordan's King Abdullah is due to visit Palestine, a Jordanian official said Tuesday, although a date has yet to be announced.
Awwad Sarhan, Jordan's ambassador to the Palestinian Authority, told Ma'an that the Jordanian King would congratulate the Palestinian people following the UN General Assembly's overwhelming approval to upgrade Palestine to a non-member observer state.
"The visit has been confirmed, but it is not expected to happen in the near future," added Sarhan.
