Tulkarem woman arrested for 'witchcraft and sorcery'

TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Police on Thursday detained a woman in Tulkarem on suspicion of fraud and practicing "sorcery and witchcraft."

Police said in a statement that the woman was arrested after a man complained she had taken money from his daughters for witchcraft and sorcery.

Following an investigation, police arrested the woman and transferred her to prosecution.

Read well the charges, it says FRAUD and sorcery and witchfraft... Fraud is what she was doing, that's why she got detained.
