HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Palestinian police arrested several people suspected of stealing telephone cables belonging to a Palestinian company in the southern West Bank, a police statement said Tuesday.
The group had been interrogated after complaints from Paltel, the Palestinian telecommunications company, about theft in Bani Naim, near Hebron.
The suspects were later caught red-handed, the police said. The theft caused several landlines to be disconnected, the statement added.
