GAZA CITY (Ma'an) – Egyptian forces on Monday detained six African migrants trying to enter Israel from Sinai, an Egyptian security official said.

The security official told Ma'an that four men and two women were detained. They were exhausted and showed signs of torture on their bodies, he said.

The migrants were taken to Rafah Hospital. They told medics they had been tortured by smugglers in Sinai for four months.
