Gunmen fire at village council leader's Tulkarem home

TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Unknown assailants on Monday shot at the house of a village council leader in Tulkarem.

Jalal Jayousi, head of the Kour village council, said several bullets were fired and a Molotov cocktail was thrown at his home, causing damage but no injuries.

Police have opened an investigation.
