HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday detained a disabled man after raiding his grocery store in Yatta in the southern West Bank, locals said.
Soldiers escorted Yousif Ibrahim Nawajaa to his home, which they inspected before detaining him.
Local youth threw stones at soldiers, who responded by firing tear gas and rubber-coated bullets, injuring two young men, residents of Yatta told Ma'an.
Nawajaa was injured during the second intifada and received medical treatment in Iran. On his return, he was denied entry to the West Bank by Israel until human rights groups intervened on his behalf.
An Israeli military spokesman did not immediately return calls.
