RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The emir of Qatar has postponed his visit to Ramallah until the end of January, the Palestinian Authority foreign minister said Thursday.

Sheikh Hamad Ibn Khalifa al-Thani was expected to visit the West Bank in December but has delayed the trip, Riyad al-Malki said.

The minister said he did not know why the visit was postponed.

Meanwhile, Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi will visit Ramallah on Saturday, al-Malki told Ma'an.

Al-Arabi was expected to arrive with a delegation of foreign ministers from the region, but al-Malki said that in a phone call with al-Arabi the officials agreed he would come alone instead.

During his trip to Ramallah, al-Arabi will arrange a separate visit for Arab foreign ministers at another time, al-Malki added.

Lack of cash flow. I don't think so. Waiting for the Israeli elections to be over. Possibly. Something is up.

Apparently Qatari emir Sheikh Hamad Ibn Khalifa al-Thani does not like Abbas too much. It is sad - he could give Abbas some money to waste.

What are they talking about? My guess is that Abbas is asking emir to open new bank account for Abbas & Sons in Qatar and emir is asking how much money Abbas wants him to deposit in this new account.

Riiiiiiight! He must have been rescheduled by NATO? Has he sent his "aid Shekels"to Palestine(not to the PA money-laundering puppets)yet,to 1.5 MILLION blockaded, attritioned,CIVILIANS in Zionist-sewage-dump,the Gaza ghetto? Is he going to publically INSIST on an end to the Zionist/USG occupation of Palestine?Or is he still busy funding al-Qaeda &the extremist sectarian Islamist"opposition"mercenaries in the NATO,USG,Wahhabi COUP on Shia Islam across the region(Iraq next too)? Shameful!

I wonder how they enter West Bank? There are two entrances, all under control of Israel's Border Guards. Air travel by helicopter must be cleared by Israel since airspace is Israel-controlled. It would be interested how "State of Palestine" will handle these visits. Gaza is not a problem as long as Egypt has no problem with the visitors. Egypt controls main entry point.

# 3 gabi - is not me. These people who write under other's names must be totally lacking in original thought - OR perhaps they feel they must fabricate a name to make up their numbers, because they don't have enough support? #s 3, 4, 5 and 6 - before you throw brickbats at the Palestinians, why don't you take a look at the corruption in Israel- and particularly the men at the top.
