GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- An 18-year-old boy set himself on fire in Gaza City on Tuesday evening, and is in a critical condition.

Police believe a family dispute is behind his self-immolation.

The teenager poured a liter of gasoline over himself and set his body alight outside his family home in the Shujaiyeh neighborhood in Gaza City.

He is being treated in Shifa hospital.
