PLO studies steps to join UN treaties, bodies

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) -- The PLO's ruling body met Thursday and affirmed the need to go to the UN Security Council for a resolution against Israeli settlement building on Palestinian land.

The PLO Executive Committee stressed the State of Palestine's commitment to the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and all UN charters, a statement after the meeting, headed by President Mahmoud Abbas, said.

The group considered a detailed report on the implementation of the UN resolution accepted Palestine as a non-member state on Nov. 29.

It includes concrete steps on accession to international treaties and joining other international bodies, the PLO said, without elaborating.

The PLO will urgently convene a meeting of the Central Council, the second-tier leadership group in the body.

The people around the world are getting tired of palestinians living on the foreign aid, not working and marching, complaining, demanding, demanding, demanding...The patience will run down very soon and palestininas will be de-funded and advised to look for money somewhere else - in Arab League, Russia and China for example.

Oslo agreements are dead since palestinians walked out from negotiations in Washington and started terror war called intifada-2 in Oct 2000. Just like they walked out from next round of negotiations in Dec 2008. And yes, palestinians also had unfulfilled obligation under Oslo. So, preconditions for the new negotiations have nothing to do with both sides’ Oslo obligations. And if palestinians do not want to negotiate - it is just fine, but they should understand that they would never have a state

Palestinians should submit their complains to UNESCO, Arab League, Organization of Islamic States, Free people of the world, Vatican, International Olympic Committee, FIFA, Anyone who is not tired yet of palestinian’s complains and demands and would listen to them. Did I forget someone? By the way I can not recall UN rapporteur and UN general assembly condemning palestinians for launching anti-tank missiles into school buses last year. It is not too late to do it if they want to gain credibility

It is obvious that the only thing which is uniting countries inside UN is their hatred toward America, West, Israel and Jews. As soon as UN stops talking about Israel they can not agree on anything.

It is very palestinian way - refuse to negotiate and complain to UN, UNESCO, Arab League, Free People of the World, International League Of Gays And Lesbians, FIFA, International Olympic Committee etc. Very smart - just like everything else what palestinians have done and still do. They will get of cause nothing - as usually.

The first steps include: get rid of the name PLO; rewrite the Charter to sound like you actually respect and regard your jewish neighbors as "people" who have a right to live in their ancient homeland; start speaking truth about your origins; stop begging and start working for your sustenance. Until then, you aren't serious.

#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 All a bit rattled guys. Kind of unravelling. Also anonymous and all Jews one imagines (not that there's anything wrong with that.) But something's freaking you out. Is it "UN Security Council...resolution against Israeli settlement building on Palestinian land", "Palestine's commitment to the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights", "concrete steps on accession to international treaties and...other international bodies"? It's definitely something.
