USING THE 3 WORDS "State of Palestine," or just the 9-letter word "Palestine," on PEDCAR, or even UNGA stationary or official documents is purely symbolic, and WILL NOT (nor can it) AFFECT PALESTINE'S real-world SITUATION:
a- Total dependance upon Israel for basic needs,
b- NO sovereignty over most West Bank lands, and
c- NO control over 1967 borders !!!

Answer to Stationary vs./Reality Let’s see the truth for once published, it goes missing when it’s a proven fact Exactly, they need to come to the table to talk a- Total dependence upon Israel for basic needs. Pure rubbish, they are far better off than they were with Jordan there. b- NO sovereignty over most West Bank lands. Again rubbish. They are in full control in areas A & B c- NO control over 1967 borders !!! Never mind 1967 borders. THERE ARE NO BORDERS. THE HAVE ALWAYS refused to talk.

Though Gaza has access limited to the outside world, via the Egyptian Border
(either by a legal Rafah crossing or by smuggling tunnels),
- Areas A/B have NO access to the outside world, except with Israeli permission, to cross lands, that are totally under Israel's control, and thus Areas A/B are
totally dependent upon Israel, for all it's import/export needs.
- Any educated person knows that Areas A/B includes about
95% OF THE West Bank's Arab POPULATION, ON 40% OF THE LAND.

THERE may not be any borders or armistice lines relevant today, but there
IS DEFINITELY ISRAELI SOVEREIGNTY now, over lands that never were part of any other state, since the Roman Empire conquered the Jewish State of Judea.

AND while either side "refuses to talk" to the other,
THIS SOVEREIGNTY SITUATION WILL REMAIN as it is today, with:
- Arab Sovereignty in Gaza and Area A,
- Jewish Sovereignty in Israel (including E. Jerusalem) & Areas C/E1,
- Shared Sovereignty in Area B.
